Certificate courses

Certificate courses are designed to give you practical skills and knowledge required for a specific industry area, such as Business, Accounting, IT, Hospitality, Leadership and Management, and Community services. The course levels range from Certificate I to Certificate IV depending on the study area. However, the courses usually start from Certificate III.

Entry requirements

• Australian Year 10 or equivalent
• IELTS – overall score 5.0 or higher
• Course specific entry requirements: Some creative courses, like design and art, might require submission of a portfolio.

Length: 6 months – 2 years

Tuition fee: Average $6000 per year

Study outcome:

• Hands-on skills and knowledge in the chosen area of study.
